Hi! Great article - a lot of trainers do say that you shouldn't let your dog sleep with you - I am glad that you think it's ok, when appropriate. My 3 Rotts are crated at night. But, Xena (my runt) sometimes will whine at night. At first I thought it was because she gets hot at night. But last night, she did this and so I put her in my bed with me and she was restless a little but then calmed down....at the same time, I was having an anxiety attack. When my anxiety calmed down - that's when Xena calmed down. My anxiety flared back up later in the night and so did Xena. Once again, when my anxiety calmed, so did she. I can't recall about the other times - I only noticed this last night. So...I think everyone should do like you say & evaluate their own individual situations. Thanks for a great article! Take care....Alisa
