About Katrina Krings

Katrina graduated with honors and earned a degree in Psychology with an emphasis on animal behavior from Southampton College. She has completed extensive course work on such topics as comparative animal behavior, animal operant learning, applied behavior analysis, canine behavior, instructor skills, and treating behavioral problems in the family dog. Katrina has applied her impressive training skills with a wide range of animals including dogs, horses, and even rats! Katrina was an assistant trainer at East End Kennels in Westhampton and an assistant manager of the Apple Creek Stables in Ohio, where she designed course plans and instructed all levels of classes. Katrina has a special interest in shelter animals; She was a volunteer for the League of Animal Welfare from 1999 - 2005 and completed an international independent study on stray dogs.
