Banjo: Do you like to jog through the park? Banjo, a year old mix, would be the perfect running partner and he'll even give you a kiss afterward! Banjo is a very kind and eager boy who was found as a stray before being brought to Animal Haven. He is active, smart, and gentle. His gorgeous appearance is a bonus that goes hand-in-hand with his similarly beautiful disposition. As much love as you can give him, he'll match you and then some! [Available: 05/13/10]

 Crosby: Crosby is an extremely playful 3 month-old Boxer mix who came to us from Animal Care and Control. His new family should be prepared to provide him with lots of exercise. He loves everyone and will try to climb on you the moment he meets you (obviously, something he needs to work on!). But, just because he hasn't yet graduated from puppy school doesn't mean he isn't smart and eager. He's super affectionate and will be a wonderful companion to his new family. [Available: 05/13/10]

 Caramel: These adorable puppies came to us all the way from Missouri! They were pulled from a high-kill municipal shelter by a local rescuer who then helped to place them with NY organizations. Flown by 6 different volunteer pilots from around the country, 14 dogs in all made the trip to New York. The "Made in MO" pups are all smart, well-socialized, and comfortable with people. They love to play with each other, but are even more interested in making human friends! Each one of them has a unique personality, but are all equally lovable. Their adoptive families should be ready to raise a puppy, which includes house-training, classes, and socializing. [Available: 05/13/10]

 Leni: Having spent her first week in foster care, Leni has become extremely comfortable with people and wants for nothing more than affection. She loves to go on walks exploring the city followed by a long nap (we're told she even snores sometimes!). She has already lived with cats and is very considerate of and polite to other animals. Her foster mom described her as "observant, obedient and smart!! She is a sweetie and one of the best pups [...she'd] seen!!". Leni is eager to get back into a home and to find her forever family.  Rascal: Rascal is a very lively and enthusiastic dog who came to us as a stray. She is exceptionally sweet and lovable, but hasn't had any behavior training up until this point. She would be the perfect dog for an active adopter who can provide enough outlets for her energy. Smart, determined, and extremely loyal, she will respond well to training classes and a structured routine. Rascal becomes attached to people quickly and her devotion to you will be unwavering.  Baby: Baby is a big, goofy girl who has, unfortunately, been bounced around for most of her life. She was originally rescued from the city shelter, but was then relinquished to Animal Haven when her new family no longer had the time to care for her. Baby is very smart and affectionate and just wants to be loved. She bonds quickly with people and will be very loyal to her new family. Still in need of some basic obedience training, Baby would do well with a patient adopter who will give her plenty of outlets for her energy.
